Adventureland is an upcoming 2009 comedy-drama film written and directed by Greg Mottola.

The film stars Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart, Ryan Reynolds and Martin Starr.

Plot
It’s the summer of 1987, James Brennan (Jesse Eisenberg), a recent college graduate, is looking for a job.

After initial attempts to find employment prove unsuccessful, he eventually finds work at a local amusement park and learns it’s the perfect course to prepare him for the real world.

The film is based on the director’s experiences of the same nature working at an amusement park of the same name.

The film is scheduled to be released on April 3, 2009 in the United States. It is rated R for language, drug use and sexual references.

The tag line is: It was the worst job they ever imagined… and the best time of their lives
