Shrek forever afterShrek Forever After is a 2010 American animated fantasy fairy tale drama of the film, and the final film of the Shrek series, Shrek 5 after it was canceled.

It was released in theaters on May 21, 2010 in the United States, Canada, India, Russia May 20 and May 28 in Vietnam. He is scheduled to be released on July 2, 2010 in the United Kingdom. It was released in 3-D and IMAX 3-D. The plan was announced February 23, 2009.

Like the first three Shrek movies, the film is based on fairy tale themes. The trailer came with the Avatar.

The second trailer was released online March 12, 2010 and then attached with 3D projections of Alice in Wonderland and then How to Train Your Dragon. The third and last trailer was attached to Iron Man 2.

Plot

Shortly (Cameron Diaz) rescue Princess Fiona from Shrek (Mike Myers) in the first film, King Harold (John Cleese) and Queen Lillian (Julie Andrews) appear to have reached the magic-maker offer Rumpelstiltskin (Walt Dohrn) to help break the curse of Fiona.

King Harold is about to sign a contract to break the curse in exchange for becoming king of Far Far Away Rumpelstiltskin, but the word is that Fiona has been rescued, causing King Harold to decline the offer. A Rumpelstiltskin unhappy today in hopes that Shrek was never born, promising revenge.

Meanwhile, Shrek is tired of his life being a local celebrity and his family and friends overwhelming, and the fact that he feels that is not a “real ogre” more. When they arrive in Far Far Away’s birthday ogre babies’ first, a horde of Shrek fans for autographs and forks and torches, a child asks you to do his roar, and the three pigs eat the birthday cake.

All this makes Shrek the roar of frustration and applauded around the world. Then break a new cake and angrily leaves the room. Outside, Shrek Fiona talks about his anger and his desire to be a real ogre other time. Rumpelstiltskin listen to this. Fiona tells Shrek that he has everything, but I do not see, and she comes back inside the castle. Shrek leaves and goes on a walk rant about how Fiona is in charge and how she does not deserve an apology. In her diatribe that Rumpelstiltskin is pretending to be injured. After the “rescue” him, Rumpelstiltskin insists that joins him for a ride in his car.

Rumpelstiltskin offers a day when none of their adventures that never happened, a day to feel like a real ogre again, for a day, from childhood to Shrek. Shrek agrees and signs the contract. Shrek enjoy your day to be feared by the locals, until he sees his home in the swamp is not only a large tree trunk. He is captured by a group of witches and taken to Rumpelstiltskin, the king of Far, Far Away, Rumpelstiltskin Shrek took the day he was born and has approved ago King Harold and Queen Lillian sign the contract, making it disappear, because the contract had stated that it would “all their problems disappear,” which makes him king. Even enslave the population ogre. Rumpelstiltskin said that once they are up to 24 hours, Shrek, never been born, will cease to exist altogether.

Shrek is able to escape from confinement and rescue Donkey (Eddie Murphy), who works as a pack mule and has never met Shrek. Burro at first do not trust Shrek and fears, but eventually becomes friends with the troll. Donkey is also smart and can tell by folding the paper that the contract clause of the contract out Rumpelstiltskin is the first kiss of true love, not later than 24 hours exhausted.

Not finding Fiona in the tower, the two stumble into a secret community of warriors led by Fiona ogres (all are higher than ogres Shrek). Shrek Fiona never met, can not stand him and rejects his attempts to reconcile with her. Shrek also finds Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas), who is now retired Fiona pet fencing and is now obese and lazy. Jack, he knows not Shrek, befriends him and realizes that there was some romantic interest between Shrek and Fiona.

Rumpelstiltskin is leading the hunt ogre night throughout the kingdom, Fiona plans to defeat along the route. However, Rumpelstiltskin has hired Piper of Hamelin, who with a magic flute entries army of ogres dancing all the way to the castle (to the song “Shake Your Groove Thing”.) Cat and Donkey are able to save Fiona and Shrek. Shrek has by now all but won the heart of Fiona, but Fiona did not really love, the kiss does not fix the spell. Fiona comes to save the ogres and the kingdom without Shrek, Puss, or donkey.

Rumpelstiltskin announced that the kingdom wearer Shrek get what they want without conditions. Shrek is delivered and in return the army releases Rumpelstiltskin ogre. Shrek is imprisoned along with Fiona, and Fiona is a princess that day, I could not go free, but is deeply moved by self-sacrifice of Shrek.

The two are to feed the Dragon, the wife of a donkey in the regular timeline, but there comes the Cat, Donkey, and ogres and fight the forces of Rumpelstiltskin.

As Shrek and Fiona and escape from the 24 hours are almost going to happen, Shrek and Fiona kiss away. Fiona is maintained as an ogre when the sun rises, and realizes that it was a kiss of true love. The witches, ogres, Donkey, Puss and Fiona disappear and the contract is destroyed, sending his defeat Rumpelstiltskin and the city has returned to normal when Shrek is roaring on the birthday of his frustration in children.

Fiona Shrek embraces his family and friends again, and comments that Fiona had saved him when they met. After which, we see the hand of Shrek close the book and put it with the books of the other three films, the next book called “Puss in Boots: The Story of a murderer ogre.”

During the end credits, they and all their family and friends, including the army ogre’s birthday ogre babies “for the first time in a greater feast including Rumpelstiltskin, now prisoner and his pet goose farm by Fiona song . A curtain call is in the credits, along with a montage of clips from the previous three films, Shrek, Shrek 2 and Shrek the Third.
