Madea Goes to Jail is an upcoming 2009 crime comedy-drama film adaptation written and directed by Tyler Perry, which was inspired by Perry’s play of the same name. The film centers on Perry’s well-known character Mable “Madea” Simmons. An exclusive free preview of the upcoming movie is included on the cinematic release of Tyler Perry’s The Family That Preys.
Synopsis
Centers on Madea (Perry), whose penchant for trouble-making lands her behind bars. She comes to the rescue of Candace (Pulliam), a fellow inmate preyed upon by a large woman named Big Sal. Derek Luke is on track to play Joshua, an attorney who has a past with Candy.
