The film follows over a third grader Judy Moody, which states that the most exciting summer of your life. However, his parents left, and Judy and her brother stay at home with her aunt.
Reception
The film Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer was widely panned by critics, receiving a “rotten” rating of 13% on Rotten Tomatoes, which states “While some may entertain younger viewers, Judy Moody is likely to be a sensory attack striking for anyone with a normal attention span.”
Roger Ebert gave the film 2 stars, saying:” ‘Judy Moody and NW Summer Bummer’ is a film that young children might find perfectly acceptable.
Little, young children little. My best guess is, above the fourth grade level, which ‘would be pushing. ”
