Happy Tears is a dramatic comedy by Mitchell Lichtenstein next.
It stars Parker Posey, Demi Moore and Rip Torn. It premiered at the International Film Festival in Berlin on 11 February 2009.
It will be released theatrically in the United States on 19 February 2010.
Story Summary
Jayne (Posey) and Laura (Moore) to play two daughters on the verge of taking care of her aging father Joe (Torn).
Upon returning to his childhood home, face-examine its own situation and avoid the memories of their new home. The sister argue about the severity of the illness of his father.
A romantic dalliance beween Joe and Shelly (Barkin) soon went on. As the disease worsens his father, the sisters struggle to balance their situation with their own individual lives and strained.
